    The Golden Compass-Film

I have just been checking Daniel Craigs new movie that is to be released in December. It looks fabulous if you like science fiction or fantasy. Which I do.

The website gives you a cute link to work out your own daemon. I appear to be an Ocelot. I knew I would have to have some of the feline in me :) Not sure who Dawn is though ;)

One more cup of tea-old friends

I am just chilling this morning as I pace myself for the day that will be. Wednesdays I visit my mother, my sister comes too.  We are going to her flat today, so it will be lots of talking and tea. I have told my mum that I have joined slimming world again, and so she knows not to buy cakes.
For now though I am sat here not doing much, checking other blogs that I read to see what everyone is doing. I keep thinking my blog has had its day, but then I can't bear to delete it all and start again. It has charted a part of me from 2005. And so I keep it going. It also has the bare-bones of my stories. I have had some interesting chats about my stories, it still makes me smile to think that I have people guessing-are they truth or fiction?
Mixing them in with a diary of real things about me is why people think they are real. So I guess its obvious that people would think it is just another day in the life of marie. I think maybe it is time to re-awaken one of my first. Did I tell you about the day I met a vampire? yes he was real, honestly would I fabricate such a thing!
Time for another cup of tea, and to say hello to an old friend of mine, before I get ready to face the world...

    Perhaps a tad premature

So I set of to my daughter's house for lunch, ooo la la, yes I had lunch cooked for me! My daughter cooked a roast dinner-It's bliss having someone else cook for you.

I wore my walking coat but it looked cool, so I added a woolly cardi. Hm and I melted on the bus! I started my journey under a grey and bleak sky, only for the sun to serenade me. Premature, autumnal attire was a bad idea, thank goodness my woolly hat hadn't arrived yet.

I enjoyed my roast chicken dinner, but my daughter outdid herself with a scrumptious chocolate, mocha cake with warm coffee syrup poured over it. Heaven visited me today! And my waistband screamed as she packed the rest of it to take home.
